Bollywood Superstar Nawazuddin SiddiquiThe journey from watchman to superstar

Nawazuddin Siddiqui Uddin Siddiqui is a well-known actor in Hindi films and has spread his acting skills in many important Bollywood films. He has received a lot of love from the public after receiving praise from critics, he has also been awarded ‘Nawaz ‘ with many awards for his performance, as well as his fan following has increased in Bollywood as well as in Hollywood. Nawazuddin Siddiqui was born on 19 May 1974 in Budhana.

His full name is Numberdar Nawazuddin Siddiqui Uddin Siddiqui but he changed his name before joining Bollywood. Nawazuddin Siddiqui Uddin grew up in a joint family, along with his seven brothers and two sisters.  In the 1970s, when there was no television for entertainment, the carnival and cultural events held in the village were the only means of entertainment. Whenever Nawazuddin Siddiqui saw him in his childhood, he also wanted to be a part of them. 

After graduating in BSc Chemistry from Gurukul kangri university, he worked as a chemist in Vadodara for about 1 year, after which he moved to Delhi in search of work. After coming to Delhi, he saw a theater play which upon seeing he had a desire to do something different. 

He acted in about 10 plays to become a part of the National School of Drama in New Delhi, after which he finally got a chance to be a part of the national school of drama due to his hard work and talent. However, living in Delhi is not so easy. Nawazuddin Siddiqui also worked as a watchman at a toy factory in Noida to serve in Delhi for which he received ₹ 500 a month. 

However, later he was fired from that job because he had to stand in the sun all day, whenever he would sit in the shade of the tree for a few moments, and then the owner of that factory would come there and think that the Namaz was something. They do not work, they just keep resting, they expelled them from their jobs.  Nawazuddin Siddiqui came to Mumbai in 1996 after graduating from the National School of Drama. He made his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan’s film Sarfarosh, in which he did a short 39-second scene. Although his friend was selected for that scene, why his friend was not present on the day of the shooting, so Nawazuddin Siddiqui got this role. 

After this, he played small roles in many films like Ram Gopal Varma’s Shool, Jungle, and Rajkumar Hirani’s Munna Bhai MBBS. After coming to Mumbai, he wanted to do TV serials, though that could not happen. He did a short film in 2003 titled ‘The Bypass’ in which he appeared alongside Irrfan Khan. The years 2002 to 2005 were the most difficult for him as he had no work during that time due to which he was facing financial constraints. So he started living in a small flat in which 4 people lived.  Because he did not have the money to pay the rent of the flat, he was entrusted with the responsibility of cooking.  Later, he was also given lunch, breakfast, dinner, cleanliness, and other responsibilities, he left home after being fed up with being treated like a servant with him. 

In his troubled days, while Nawazuddin Siddiqui once sat with his friends at the railway station, he met Anurag Kashyap, who had started his career in Bollywood as a writer.  Anurag then told him about the auditions for the Shul film in which Nawazuddin Siddiqui played a waiter. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who made his place in Bollywood, faced many problems but he did not give up. Her first lead role was Miss Lovely which was to be released in 2012 but due to the problem in production, she was released in 2014. 

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who belongs to a zamindar family, considers Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s acting to be the biggest Bollywood legend. He worked with big stars like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Shah RukhKhan. Impressed by his acting in Gangs of Wasseypur, Varun Dhawan became his fan and wanted to work with him and his wish was fulfilled in the film Badlapur. 

At the Lakme Fashion Week in 2013, Nawazuddin Siddiqui walked the first ramp of his life featuring fashion designer, Troy Costa, as he found Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Struggle Story to be his own Struggle Story. Nawazuddin Siddiqui believes that money is not everything.  He signs by watching any film character, not by seeing money. 

He likes to do characters whose journey he learns from himself.  He always tries to relate his film to reality so that the audience can understand his character better. Nawazuddin Siddiqui does not consider himself a very big actor, but he believes that no one is a bad actor. Even after achieving such great heights, Nawazuddin Siddiqui keeps his behavior perfectly normal, never keeping much money with him.

He always talks very generously and this helps him to maintain his relationship from the ground.
